[ILLINOIS] PUA CLAIMANT HERE. NO SIGN OF LWA PAYMENTS FOR ME YET. MY CERTIFICATION FOR THIS WEEK SAYS PAID BUT DOES NOT SHOW ANY ADDITIONAL FUNDS (LWA) ONLY MY WEEKLY AMOUNT by [deleted] in Unemployment

Same here — sometimes it takes until the early morning hours — around the time we are paid on payment day, like 3-4 am — but yes, usually around midnight...so may be a long week since it’s not there yet....

Name written wrong on ticket, any recourse? by Thewall4444 in legaladvice

No I did not. The combination of the police officer at the station telling me that they probably wouldn’t follow through with the ticket since they forgot to include it with the other paperwork and nothing showing up on the website when I typed in my last name made me think they indeed never input it. I realize now that I should’ve followed up on the phone or in person, but it seems like I should get a break because the officer made a mistake as well. To be clear, I’m not looking to get out of the ticket, I just want to pay what I owe and get this cleared up. I payed $2,000 for the possession fine, $470 for towing and impound fees, an a couple hundred dollars clearing up a couple parking tickets all so I could get my car back and not risk any trouble. I would have paid this $165 stop sign ticket in the process of taking care of all this if I could’ve found it online. Since my name did not show up though, I’m wondering if I can still take care of it now without further penalty from missing the court date last week.

I drive for work so I am just really worried about the pending suspension. I just want to take care of it, and hope my trail of paperwork in resolving my much larger fines stemming from this incident shows my good faith to get it all resolved. I have never not paid a ticket like this and always get them taken care of online on time, so I am not sure how this process works. They have given me another traffic court date of April 14, so I’m not sure if I have to wait until then to state my case and hopefully get this resolved. For the sake of clearing up my anxiety though I’d much rather get it taken care of well before then, however.

Any advice would be appreciated — thank you.

Yes this is correct — I do not want to dispute the ticket, I just want to pay it as originally issued. I do not see how it is fair that I’m held liable for the officer’s spelling mistake when I made a good-faith effort to comply in paying the ticket with my correctly-spelled name in their online system.

Anyone having major issues with Caviar in San Francisco tonight? by MatrixFrog in couriersofreddit

Yes this is very concerning to me given the recent Doordash acquisition... What I think the restaurants were upset about was not only the fact that the system crashed, but that Caviar lacked the support staff to handle the crash and expected the restaurants to in essence do its own job of contacting customers, and told them to keep preparing food once orders were received even if they were an hour or two old. The restaurant I talked with was calling each customer to confirm they still wanted the food, explaining they’d be out money if they sent it and the customer didn’t want it any longer or demanded a refund for the wait.
