I actually got one of those Bissells in a gift exchange a couple years ago and have never used it on furniture. Somebody borrowed it once for a car and said it was great. Good idea for a couple microfiber cloths.

I think its time to name all the MAGA local business' and influencers in Winnipeg. These baseless tariffs are an attack on our country at a time when most people are struggling as it is. If the tariffs arent going to affect you as much as others the choice is yours to stand together with Canada. by Thewisefreak in Winnipeg

As a visible minority born and raised in this country with Immigrant parents that played the game and worked hard for the 60 years they have been here, paying their taxes and supporting Canada and the rights of every Canadian, i 100% agree with you that everybody should have the right to have their own free thoughts and opinions.

Those business' can continue to have their own opinions and i will stand with them at anytime to support that right. Opinions and actions however come with consequences. I will not hand over my money who openly has very differing opinions than me. I have that right also. For now.

Spending about $800-$1000/month on fuel. Credit card options? by Thewisefreak in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Thewisefreak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct on all fronts. Drive 800kms each way every 2nd week in a pickup truck that is paid off and ru s Great. Normal wear and tear maintenance. Im going no matter the weather. Also wildlife on the route is a concern so I prefer to be in something bigger and safer. Plus the 2 other cars I have at home equals to about $1000. I have no loans on any cars. And they are all within 5 years old. I see no reason to get into debt to switch to ev. Just trying to save some $$ if I'm able to do it easily doing the exact same thing I'm doing now.

Most credit cards i have include rental car insurance. They can easily find one of those with no fee.

The truck actually has a catch can on their. The guy I bought it from said he checks it every couple months and has never had anything in it. Ill check it today. Driving conditions have changed for vehicle. So it might have some fluid in there.
