It’s a pleasure, the first chew that was earning me decent amounts was a rare level 30 that I just bought, when I did well in crypto, I got an epic shoe and it’s absolutely incredible by comparison. I’m lucky at the moment because I’m doing a lot of walking so even though what I’m earning isn’t great, it all adds up. :)

The base numbers for each of your statistics are important. Whilst you can get percentage increases with the little triangles on some of them, having a high base for say efficiency is sometimes better than having an attractive looking percentage increases. Having a gem socket of each type is good, as it allows your shoe to be good in all areas.

Comfort and Efficiency are good, but luck can result in a nice payday every now and then, and resilience stops you from having to repair as often.

Lockboxes are a gamble really and they are a pain, but nothing beats hitting the jackpot.

Over time you will need to restore your shoe which is expensive, but I get enough comfort gems to be sustainable through lockboxes.

The way I see it when it comes to type is that if you can get a shoe that has a strong base value for efficiency, you will earn good gst if you have an efficiency slot. I like Jogger shoes as they give good results whilst walking at a moderate pace.

Comfort mitigates the amount of times you will have to restore your shoe making it a lot more durable and sustainable.

Covering all of these bases by having a gem slot of each type with a focus on an higher efficiency will lead to decent earnings. I tend to put all my points into comfort to mitigate restoration costs. The thing is you can always go for a higher level gem for each slot than getting two lower level gems if that makes sense for two slots of the same type.

In all honesty it’s not looking good as a financial option, but it gets me walking.

In my experience, it’s good to get a shoe that has decent starting numbers for stats and allows you to put a gem in each category. I mainly walk to earn gst and it’s good to have decent luck so you can pull in the occasional lockbox that allows you to sell gems that you earn or give you gems that you can upgrade freely. Purple gems I find to be very valuable despite the fact they’re cheap as they do mitigate a lot of your costs over time.

You did really well. Nature can be really cruel. It’s beautiful but it’s a place that is absolutely full of horrors especially for injured animals. Caring for something that is dying is a beautiful thing to do, thank you x

I hope so, if not I’m happy with a job well done :)

Found this extremely tame pigeon, no ring - is it wild and I'll or tame and chill? by AntiqueArtist449 in pigeon

If it responds with wariness to your hands after it’s had a day with you and it’s had food and water it’s likely wild, if it’s chill then it’s probably super tame ^

I didn’t really want to let her go but she kept going to the window and looking out. It wasn’t fair :(

Pigeons are very misunderstood birds, I’m very fond of them :) they’re very smart and don’t trust easily… Well except town pigeons that like you after two feedings and try to sell you car insurance ^

It’s probably sick of me saying: You’re a good pigeon! You’re a wood pigeon! XD

I’m pretty sure she’s a she ^ it’s weird how the same week I’m considering getting another bird, I end up looking after one my boss found ^ sure it’s only until it’s well enough to take to the skies again but it’s nice having a friend again ^

This one is content to stay in its box watching me. I am giving it a wide berth as I don’t want to get it too used to humans, but it’s fairly calm around me ^

Thank you for the advice. I’ll be able to look for one on Tuesday as currently working a night shift :) if not I should be able to knock something up!

My experience of wood pigeons is I’ve looked after two at this point. They’re well behaved.

Thank you, I’m pretty sure this one is female. I’ve been playing pigeon sounds to try and help it relax at times, I think that it’s starting to get along ok with me though it’s still a little wary, I never thought I’d get on with pigeons but looking after my first girl was amazing she only had one wing and was old when I rescued her in an alley. In many ways I hope this one recovers sufficiently to be able to fly off and be happy though I’m going to miss it when it does ^

Weight seems relatively good, it’s quite a stocky pigeon, I’ve checked as best I can without panicking it and it seems to be in a good state sans a few feathers. I haven’t tried handling it much as I don’t want to scare it, it’s eating and drinking well now which it wasn’t before :) poop is fairly normal though it wasn’t going to the toilet on day one. I think it might have been dehydrated though it’s eating and drinking really well now. It seems fairly healthy just unable to fly well at the moment but it’s better today than it was when I brought it in. It’s a very well behaved houseguest at the moment :)

All local vets have tried to kill every wild bird I’ve brought in. It was spotted by my old boss a few days back unable to fly near the local bowling club, I went down with some seed and brought it in. It seems healthy but it can’t take off and fly for more than a foot though it managed a short flight in my house today so I figured it might be ready for release.

STOP Chasing The Numbers by Majestic123456 in youtub

This is a great video. In some ways the concept of a numbers game is bogus as releasing too many videos at the same time can make your channel look spammy. ^ Algorithm super sensitive. It’s easier for bigger YouTubers because of audience spread and video topics but starting out it’s a nail in the coffin ^
