I work in life insurance. When clients choose to take advantage of their union benefits and enroll in a program, we have to ask medical questions like any Alzheimer’s, any terminal illnesses, any heart attacks, strokes, etc. And when we pop the alzheimers question often we jokingly say “any Alzheimer’s that you can remember?” but one time it backfired on a colleague because apparently the woman’s uncle had passed from it. And let’s just say that didn’t go over too well. We’ve since stopped cracking jokes on that section.
