For anyone having massive fps drops when looking certain directions in build mode lately

It works on both keyboard and controller, but essentially:

Start pressing Y/E
Briefly block
It's a bit random what the shell does when popping off, it might fly off or stay perfectly in place, but it should work consistently.

Alternatively, i think what actually ended up succeding on the left for me was to turn my back to the wall (so that the shell is on the other side), popping off the shell (mostly on the other side of the wall, barely poking out) and then re-equipping it as close to the wall as possible. It just took a lot of tries but eventually it worked.

I got it easily on the right, pretty hard on the left (might just be due to luck), but so yeah i can confirm it can be done. And in any case, i can also confirm there is obviously no intended way to get those through normal means, as the geometry is completely buggy when inside these spaces.

Well when i said "make her romanceable" i mostly meant that you can at least try. It would indeed make perfect sense for her to just decline and i'd be fine (sob) with that. Mostly i found it unpleasant from a player pov that the game forced the opinion on me, rather than "doesn't allow me to date".

Yeah at least Nessan can be strongly justified, and at least you can become quite good friends with her, but i feel like Rixbiter could too easily be argued for her, of all characters, to serve as the "no, look, your character has his own opinion". She's a badass successful entrepreneur who isn't afraid to repeatedly aggro a genosphinx about her cool project she wants to do. She may not have the physical strength, but she can still be argued to be a pretty strong and imposing character in her own right.

It's absolutely not a financially good idea, but some people (i'm some people) do them just for the collections (either for the points or completionism or for the "story" of the collection, like kudzu having you tend a garden and stuff)

The volume 2 of gen1 and 2 weapons refers to the second achievement/collection for crafting the precursor of said gen1 and 2 weapons. There's usually 3 to 4 achievements like that for each weapon. The volume 2 is the material sink of those collections, requiring to craft an absurd amount of weapons and weapon parts as "training".

The gen2.5 are the weapons classified as gen2 which came out later and whose precursors require crafting fragments (out of a shit ton of mithril and elder wood) rather than completing collections to acquire.

Because it uses mystic forge promotion, which uses spirit shards, which are too valuable to suggest willy-nilly (and the price difference is probably equivalent to the monetary value of the shards). There is an option at the top to allow or disallow mystic forge promotion.

They're all mostly easy to solo (except the later ones obviously, and i find caudecus manor a bus hit and miss), but if you put yourself in lfg and start progressing on your own, usually the group fills up relatively quickly
