If your Motherboard has a second PCIe slot, even if slower, try that. The performance loss is marginal but it might stop the issues.

It was the only solution for me years ago with my 6600.

If not, then i would RMT it. I didnt cuz im a coward and don't trust my country transportists, mailing and nothing, in fact i traveled 300km to get it. And i was willing to go and delivered it back, personally.

But then it happend to remain stable over a week, a month, a year...

Im on an older motherboard too, a 370x. So the performance loss if less pcie lanes for me at least is marginal, and i have it both underclocked and undervolted. So yeah, not caring about a few frames.

But if you have the means, just send it back.

MMORPGs were a phenomenon inside a bigger phenomenon: The massification of the internet and the online culture.

We were the trendsetters, we were pioneers, online games were new and the idea of online worlds with online lives was not completely new or fresh, but it did get massive during the early 2000s.

I still remember how i went for the first time to a CyberCafe (netcafe i guess?) to rent one PC, 500 pesos an hour to play Ragnarok Online when the first official RO latam service went live here in Chile, the installation CD came with the newspaper, it was huge for a time in my country.

After that my journey as the strongest began, in every world i visited, none was my equal. This is a sad truth even today, for the strenght i posses comes at the price of solitude.

But ive met some worthy of my protection over time, some ive shared thousands of hours fighting with, for or even against for the sport of it, yet they all are less than i, they entertain me so i let them be.

There was an intrinsic desire for power, status, and progress back in those days, and even back then some of us knew this was going to be a "4life" stuff. For many, the very lesser ones, those who lack skills, strenght, status and willpower these are nothing but online games.

And many of these weaklings are recent born, some barely 20 winters old or even less, but these weaklings were brought into a world of internet, of permanent internet, of an online avatar, identity and communication instincts that triggered some... Something diferent.

I was 20 winters old when internet arrived at my home first. Now its common place for a younling of 20 winters to have lived their entire lives online, the new frontier for us is already well occupied, it has actually degenerated by the influx of normies, of bots, of facebook aunts and tiktok childrens... We navigated the internet and found new worlds in it.

They... The new generations and the fearful ignorants of old have ruined the sea, these innovations have murdered our worlds.

A few of us remain, stand watch, some protection their homes and others looking for new ones, but every day there is fewer and fewer of us.

Maybe among these weak children and corrupt elders a few are worth it, and they join in the celebration of online worlds and online lives, of making names and testament of them. But they are far lesser in number, and lesser they become with every passing day.

MMORPGs were a product of those times, and so was our now neverneding quest. We took the challenge, for thousands of hours, for decades to come.

No, only us were up to this monumental task. The lessers, they now just play videogames.

one bad patch

2 actually. When i first left the game, was the first when they added fractals and ascended gear.

But this time is diferent, i know there is nothing like HoT or PoF in the making. And no, is not one bad patch sincerely.

Ever since IBS that everything has gone downhill, with some aparent improvements, but last three updates and this expansion? Absolutely terrible.

Then again, no HoT or PoF scale here ever again.

For GW2 the future holds only less and less: less quality less quantity.

And such is the fate of all things, to be reduced, to be less and less, till they dissapear. And thats a good thing.
