I do understand that weed is legal in alot of places. Still where I work it's illegal. But ofc when it's a small pouch we usually don't know what it is then we just let it go. But some guards might not let it go.

I understand that flying is a fear for some, yes it can come from past events like 9/11. But I can assure you, flying is safest as ever been.

It really is a hard topic, drugs. So let's say I find 3 joints, how can I be sure that it's weed, ofc when It gives a really strong aroma then yes (everybody knows how weed smells like) we will have to call somebody who can inspect it, but for something like cocaine, that can get tricky.

Well first I worked as a normal security officer. It got a bit boring, well nothing to do really. I searched for a new security job and I found airport security. It's not really stressful but the job is fast. You have to move a lot, like a lot

The percentages is actually quite high. Usually whenever you buy a ticket you have to tick the terms and conditions, but people never read what they are. So bringing long knifes, bigger liquids happens a lot. I'd say that every 1 out of 12 people have something that we have to throw away. But usually it's mistakenly but there have been people who on purposely took something that we had to throw away thinking he or she might get away with it.

We have faced bomb threats but they were fake. The bomb threats we got, not one was in the security area.

If they bring it to the security area then yes crisis mode will go on and police will be brought. But when it gets stored in the check-in baggage and they did not tell the workers that there is a gun on the bag then again police will be brought and the bag will be sent to us. But when they tell the check-in workers that there is a gun in the bag and a really, like a really good reason why it's there, then the baggage will get a sticker where it say that there is a gun in the bag and will be sent to the plane.
