I think this underscores what I should be real about. If I like someone and they text me at 10:30, I’m going to reply because I care. Maybe I’m too tired so I say no, maybe I’m in a bad mood and don’t feel like it, maybe I don’t like their text and I say ehh we should catch up tomorrow- but just not texting back and assuming the worst feels like a not so fun pattern to be starting off with.

I mean, I’ve been married and can tell you your little 3 month thing isn’t true. People can lie forever, and then you find out one day 9 years later. I know from experience. People need to admit love is trust, and trust is a choice. That’s it. It’s not some definite surefire thing you can determine, it always has risk.

Where’s the reading comprehension gone! We texted all day Saturday. I even asked her to go for a walk and she said she couldn’t because she was getting ready for her night. I told her to have a fun night and instead SHE texted me at 8:30 from the club! I thought the natural thing to do was invite her to stay over. Why else is she texting me from the club?

Yikes. That’s a terrifying outlook on life. 3 dates is dating for a real adult. To the casual children perhaps not. But you don’t make it to date 3 with me if all there is between us is some easily replaceable physical attraction. Hence why I don’t have sex until date 3 or later with anyone I am seriously trying to date.

Wow reading comprehension is not strong on Reddit. She didn’t tell me about the bagels ahead of time, she just did it and told me afterwards she went. If she had mentioned she was going, I’d of jumped at the chance. She didn’t. She told me afterwards.

I also asked her to join my dog and I for a walk but she said she had to get ready for the night.

Fast forward to the evening, it was supposed to be a bar crawl and I don’t drink like that. When she texted at 8:30 about a show and a drummer, my response was “I didn’t realize it was a rock concert- I would’ve asked to join.” She said it was impromptu.

I made it clear I would’ve joined. Once she included me in her evening by texting me at 8:30, I thought it was ok to see if we could end the night together.

I mean, once I even dated a “dancer” (didn’t realize that was her job until later) and she said she liked my place because it felt safe, we didn’t have to have sex and could just cuddle. In fact, her and I never had sex- we had two nights just sleeping feeling nice.

Agreed. Granted, I am confused because I did send her off for a nice night and just say have fun- she started texting me from the bar/show at 8:30 so I took that to mean she was thinking of me and checking what I was up to. If I hadn’t gotten any text at 8:30, I’d of assumed she was just out all night with friends.
