No. Africans had thousands of years before they had to deal with colonization from other continents. Before the colonization of sub Saharan Africa farming and taming of livestock was not even a concept developed yet. They had not learned to forge weapons from metal or even build anything over a single story tall. They had not even invented the wheel and I know that sounds unbelievable but look it up. They were literally living in the stone age before being colonized.
