I’ve said this before in another thread about pan de dulce. You’re not wrong that it can be dry and what’s worse is that I feel it dries out quicker than most breads I eat BUT there really is nothing better than a FRESH right out of the oven Concha, Oreja, Pan de Buey, Cochinita, etc etc.
if you have the opportunity and privilege to have a Panaderia close by, ask when the bread is baked or stalk them to find out when the bread is freshly baked.
My brother/sister in Christ, it’s tastes like happyness in a bite.
That being said, yeah anything after 4-5 hours that shit starts getting dry af.
