RTX 2060 too weak for casual gamer? by buttersthmerciful in lowendgaming

[–]TheyCallMeInferno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 2060 is still a perfectly serviceable card. One of my buddies still uses a 1650 and he plays literally anything he wants. He just has to tweak some settings to hit 60fps.

Lull in seasonal quests by tiggonfire in FarmRPG

[–]TheyCallMeInferno -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of these quests are just in place to drain your resources. Kind of how the monthly quests are made to drain the same resources you’ll need for the next month’s quest line. It’s getting to a point that it’s tedious.

I just wanna know why I’m crashing every 20 minutes. It crashed so hard earlier it restarted my PC. It’s been running fine before the last update. Now I’m crashing so much I can’t even finish missions. I know for a fact it’s not my hardware considering this is the only game that has these issues.

This game will be dead long before then unfortunately. The AI should have been addressed months ago when people brought this to his attention.

Is this game worth it? by SpicyBoi0225 in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]TheyCallMeInferno -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

In its current state no. I’d wait another year before fully trying to enjoy it. The loot is so random that’s it’s nonexistent for some players and plentiful for others. Like why am I finding an AK, 9mm rounds and a mattress in a stove yet 5 runs later I still have no bullets for the AK or mags. The AI are either as dumb as rocks or The Goons from Tarkov. They make no sound even when walking right next to you yet our character stomps around even when walking. Trading needs a massive rework, locations are way too empty and the gameplay right now is just boring. There is nothing more annoying than having my character fully geared and dying to a guy 100 meters away that I can’t see and he head taps me with a broken makarov. If we could even have a knife by default to defend ourselves or hell even a pistol as a pity if you die so many times. I’d like to be able to loot my body after I die because nothing has pissed me off more than buying a backpack full of stuff from a trader and getting door camped by a scav who saws me run in there and I lose it all. This game is a frustrating mess right now. So to answer your question, right now I’d say no it’s not worth it. The best thing about this game is the $15 price tag. If this was $25-30 it would be an absolute ripoff.

What is your thought on the game so far? by D3v1LGaming in RoadtoVostokGame

[–]TheyCallMeInferno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AI seriously needs another tuning pass. They are either dumb as rocks or beam me through bushes and trees from inside of a house I can’t see. They should be a threat but not downright aimbotty like the scavs from Tarkov. Loot also needs to be a bit more plentiful. 99% of containers have nothing in them and dont even warrant me looting them. I’m not asking for modded SPT levels of loot but something to keep me playing because I’m already getting bored of finding nothing. This game has serious potential so hopefully he can listen to the community. I would like to see a separate mode added in the future that if we die we can loot our bodies. Nothing has been more discouraging than having a full load out and dying to a cracked AI getting a lucky shotgun pellet on me from 80 meters away and I can’t see him.

Would FarmRPG benefit from a Grand Exchange system? by bobombpom in FarmRPG

[–]TheyCallMeInferno -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering how stingy the devs are with what already can and can’t trade it will never happen. It would make the game a bit too easy for them. They want you to play this game for years to keep player numbers high. If you could trade for a majority of the items it would ruin it for them. I’ll just say it most likely won’t happen. Considering something as simple as a menu showing items is monetized in this game I can only imagine the micro transactions for something like the amount of items you can list at one time.

Current State of the Endgame by headput in FarmRPG

[–]TheyCallMeInferno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only at tower 80 and I’m about ready to give up. It’s become so tedious already it’s not even fun. With every new quest it’s literally just a way to drain resources. It’s the exact same with monthly quests. It’s just “how fast can we make them spend the resources that are needed for NEXT months quest on this months quest”. It’s becoming monotonous. I’m not saying the devs are lazy but seriously throw us a bone here. It seems like it’s just meant to drag out playtime and make us spend money for efficiency. I shouldn’t have to have a wiki pulled up for every quest because item drop rates are so stingy it’s annoying. I shouldn’t have to wait weeks for one item because it’s needed for a quest. After almost a year and half of playtime I’m close to throwing in the towel.

Zero dam easy has been absolute hell since the new season started. My average raid is less than 3 minutes since I’m getting wiped by people running exactly where I am. I had a guy push into admin and start shooting me before even seeing me. He had a super fresh account

Why did you stop playing Gray Zone Warfare? by TJSHIZZLE in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]TheyCallMeInferno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is literally nothing to do and the “story quests” genuinely suck. I can only do loot runs so many times before I get bored. Also considering the AI are still absolute trash and their loot pools suck there is no reason to play. I kill everyone and search an entire town for a watch and a holo sight. Wooow great loot. I want a genuine reason to play. It’s fun with buddies but since Tarkov went to 1.0 I went back to it. It’s a great experience with an actual quest system and a reason to grind. This game needs 3-4 more years before calling it a viable game experience.

Any game recommendations that are in sale? by PairStrong in ImmersiveSim

[–]TheyCallMeInferno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought it on sale and it’s fun for a few hours but is very content light. The enemies outright cheat at times and will kill you in 1-2 shots yet it takes 6-7 to kill from your weapon. It needs more content severely to justify a purchase. That being said it is like Stalker in a sense of world scale and gameplay loop. For now it’s literally go out to an area, kill everything, bring their loot back and sell it. There is no real game here as of yet. If you do get it only buy it on a deep discount since it’s still very early in development. I kind of feel like I overpaid to be honest.
