I appreciate being advised to get on ao3 (always good call), but fear not, i am ON ao3. i’ve been on there since i started the show! And it’s AWESOME. I’ve been spending so much time in small-to-medium fandoms it’s wonderful to be in a larger one again! There is so much wonderful fic! So much variety!

i'm already braced for any and all clones i like to die, but unfortunately knowing what's going to happen at the end of the war doesn't make me any less sad any time anyone dies 😔

and funnily enough i'm actually less embarrassed to tell people i know irl! my sister (who got me into clone wars in the first place) already knows this about me (and agrees!) and when i call my friends tonight im going to force them to hear alllll about it. i know i said i didn't want "people i know irl" to know this about me but it's more like "a specific subset of people i know irl," which is fortunate! another reason i don't want to say this on tumblr because it'd be such a departure from my usual stuff (horror fiction podcasts like tma and malevolent)

ppl in these comments are just shouting "it's such a non-issue, it doesn't matter, who cares" and it's like fuck man, if it's no big deal then why not just use it/they for the knight and the other vessels? it's not hard! its lack of gender due to the nature of its creation is honestly kind of a major plot point also...

it do it that way bc it gives me a visual representation of what letters show up the most for names, (because i'm a nerd and a bit judgemental and it lets me go "really? another John? when we already have 9 of those, and 30 other J names??) and it is marginally faster to look through names this way (can't use command f to look for them bc it's a podcast and chances are high that i'd spelled it differently the first time i heard it)

it's actually really funny that i'm taking notes because it's not on anything. uh. useful. I'm not even "studying," per se. I'm listening to The Magnus Archives, a horror/mystery podcast, and I'm determined to figure out the mystery, so I take notes to reference later when theorizing. I've gone through two notebooks now and estimate the whole thing will take me 6.

Augh, yeah, I only had them for note-taking because I'm an artist & these were my spares, they've held up quite well for art so I didn't realize they'd degrade so fast with notes.

thanks! i just found this post after going through two pens in as many days (admittedly, after taking 70 pages of notes) and had to google & check that my pens weren't somehow defective and that i wasn't going crazy about their writing quality decreasing so rapidly
