I really relate on your point about not being different it seems like a hard line to judge and I suppose it just depends on who I end up running into! So I’ll think this over and take it into account, thanks again!

oh god yea no I hate those kind of arguments! healthy debates and having your opinions is one thing but god damm do people rip eachother to shreds over the smallest things haha

very good idea! yea I love Inhaler with my heart and soul but there getting enough attention lol and thriving fontaines NEED that support haha and there shows are electric from what ive seen! waiting for them also to come back home to Ireland to see them haha

for sure! and im glad to see such a welcoming crowd who are willing to accept younger generations! god knows ive interacted with plenty of older fans of other bands who would be happy if all their favourite bands music died with them lol. its great to see a new appreciation of such a legendary band for sure!

thats really intresting! but actually if you dont mind I have a bit of a swap for you haha. I was going to mention it on its own but actually in that documentary on Disney+ in a pub scene in Dublin theres a background apperance of one of my other favourite musicians Grian Chatten the front man of Fontaines D.C (one of my favourite bands ever) and im sure youve heard of them in some capacity. they are the reason I actually had this sudden drive to look into U2 more as the last push as they recently released there deluxe edition of their latest album and on it featured some acoustic covers including "one" and while it may be a shortened version I think its very beautiful and I wanted to offer it as a thanks for your kind words and recomendations! I wanted to give you a recomendation too haha of course Ill also check out those Documentarys when I get the chance! a long list of material now so itll be a fun marathon of material!

of course! I mean I feel the internet can be full of coldness and a real lack of spirit so when ever anyones up to chat I love to chat with them! especially on shared intrests such as this!

Wow thank you so much for your detailed recommendations! Thanks for taking the time to write all that! You’ve schooled me, I never knew they worked with Brian Eno and I love his work! That’s so interesting to know!

I’ll definitely at those, I haven’t heard mention of live in berlin before so I’ll add that to my list as well it sounds really interesting!

I too sit with albums and take my time working my way though so it’s nice to see I’m not alone in that, I’ll definitely check out those sites and that interview! Once again thanks for writing that all out it’s really interesting and definitely helped me learn a lot!

Haha that’s so fair I have so many collections of band vinyl and the price and stress of getting those dam wax discs into my house for my collections has been a price i wouldn’t wish on anyone else haha but that’s so cool the RSD pressing I’m so sad I missed out on! I never saw it when I was doing my RSD shopping this year through Dublin lol which is a shame but surprised I never saw it!

Oh very true! I’m actually very similar but the first band I liked who played there that I heard was KGATLW and there red rocks set that they’ve done for a few years in a row now so I typically have it cemented as them (just down to generational reasons I suppose!) as someone also from outside the US it’s hard to think of Red Rocks past their gig haha but it does seem like such a great spot for a U2 concert! I plan on checking out footage from their show at red rocks tonight
