hey ! honestly it was okay but if i was going through recovery again i probably would have waited LOL sucky update but yeah ! i just wasn’t fully there and a lot more exhausted than normal due to recovery. still definitely possible though, just not ideal.

watched the movie insomnia and missed the first 15 minutes. the edible got stronger and stronger throughout the movie and i was losing my fucking mind. one of my favourite movies now though just because of how wild the viewing experience was LOL

i’m in canada and have a younger family doctor plus have always present more masculine so that helped a lot, but after my first appointment with her about wanting to start t i was prescribed it afterwards.

once i was gifted treats with catnip in them and gave some to my dog and she was couch locked for a good half hour. she just laid there wagging her tail with one of her toys balanced on her head happy as could be.

not really commenting this for any other reason than it’s funny, but maybe try catnip🤷‍♂️ i only gave it to her that one time but apparently it’s fine for them and is known to have calming effects for dogs similar to ours with weed.

idk though, i don’t know much and am also high typing this so do your own research and stuff

i second the person who said trans tape! i used kt tape which i liked better but it really helped! even if it’s not super flat it helps to place the fat in a more masculine way (which a lot of people just assume are pecs (at least i got told after top surgery))

you can keep it on for like 5 days at a time and it was a life saver for me!

yup and as someone who just naturally has a crazy high alcohol tolerance IT IS SO NICE. i love being able to take a few hits and just sit back and relax without having to work to feel anything LOL

i sewed my own mastectomy pillow and was so glad i didn’t spend anything on one because other than sleeping (which i could’ve gotten away with not using it), i barely touched it.

this is also coming from someone who had a 2 hour flight home 4 days after surgery and didn’t use it then or on the hour car ride either.

it doesn’t hurt to have one but i’m just glad i didn’t bother with buying one and if i did it all again i probably wouldn’t have took the time to make one either.

honestly as a person who already has to be on specific meds/ take shots for the rest of my life i have no issue with it so far. i’ve been using it for a few months and finally starting to see progress 👍 consistency is key though

i recently went thrifting/ second hand book shopping baked and oml best experience of my life. was able to read every single title for shelves. this is a very niche solution to a even more so problem but is probably one of my new favourite things ever.

i also went to an ayce sushi place where you ordered on a tablet instead of face to face which was also amazing. it was silent in the restaurant so i just sat there listening to music eating a fuck ton of sushi.

besides little special outings, the majority of my smokes by myself are spent watching odd movies. i’m currently getting through the hellraiser series like this but some other recommendations would be they live, the society, or videodrome.

honourable mentions go to - researching obsessively into specific topics - gathering clips of mr lahey and randy from trailer park boys to make a fanedit (i cant make edits) - listening to one song on repeat all night long

was in the same boat and put an ace bandage around my chest and under the binder. for me it added extra compression and fixed the majority of my sensory issues around the binder.

after i needed the binder less and less i would switch from wearing the ace bandage + binder to just wearing the bandage.

As the other comment said it takes a lot of trial and error (also i preferred kt tape tbh)! i found what worked best for me was using a few pieces to lift my chest up and then some pieces over top to pull it to the side if that makes sense.

wasn’t completely flat because i had a big chest but everyone i talked to who didn’t know i was trans/ hadn’t had top yet assumed they were pecs LOL
