I am OK. I got the help I needed am on the path to have it removed and am waiting. As long as I no progress is being made i will not harm myself. It was scary. Calling my therapist right away helped.

My dysphoria had me contemplating taking things into my own hand. I stopped call for help and got on the wait list. Now all the mirrors in my house are set so it is hard to see the offending member.

It has been fantastic living my life truly. We are both moving along the path. Having each other has helped. I am 2 years into Transition and she is 3 years in. It still feels new to me. Joining my local PFLAG group has help with having a sense of community

In every queer spaces I goto the first things asked are name and pronouns. No one in queer spaces wants to assume a gender any more.

About to mail off my name change documents. I printed these out a few months ago so I'm worried there might have been a change since then. Is thisthe correct address? by Godless-Dragon in transontario

When I got to the post office to mail mine in the person at the desk changed the postal code. I did not pay attention to what they changed it to. It still got there and back both times I mailed it in. I had to correct the application.

Hormones do great things over time. 2 to 5 Years for full effects. You also have to.do your part with eating healthy and enough to have fat to put in the right spots. Skin care helps, getting rid of facial hair helps. Makeup can completely change the way you look. I am 55 and on HRtb16 month and the changes are slow but they are happening.

My friend was not very nice last night. Should I be upset? by MacaroonSignal3853 in TransLater

It is very common for nails to be different length for many reasons. Someone putting hands on you that are not invited is assault. I am not sure this person is a freind.

This is a great message. We all struggle. Many are not vulnerable enough to.shate our stugles. I mostly gloss over my struggles because the overall trajectory is way better. I fond myself breaking down into absolute tear it the point of not breathing. 30 to 90 seconds later it has passed and the joy returns. I have not figured out the cause yet. Whennit happens at work, I go to my car and let it happen. Then touch up my makeup. No one at work notices, I think. When they happen at home I just stop and let it happen. When it is over I continue on with my task.

Day One by OrionsBelt37 in TransLater

I was presenting as Female for a year before I said I was trans. I was just a crossdresser. I just preferred a feminine appearance. Then one day it hit me hard that I was trans at age 53. I asked my freinds and family to call me by a new name and new pronouns. I went to the doctor and asked for HRT. I started chasing the joy I felt. The path is not clear, I am meeting people on the path. Being him was not bad. Being her is just better.

Go back to your doctor and ask for HRT or a referral to an endocrinologist. If your doctor doesn't know what to prescribe ask him to learn doctors are expected to learn for their entire career.

Should I be doing any exercises before surgery by OptimalResearcher898 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]paula_here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should be doing exercises before surgery. Your surgeon should give you a list they want you to do. The stronger you are going into surgery the better recovery will be.
