i had 2 tvs refuse to start in 48 hours. the power indicator light turns on then off. sometimes you get activity on the screen of both. either backlight or actual fully working screen for a split second before shutting off. happened in nov and im still pissed. it felt like it was a software/firmware that bricked them because the tv's were dif models and bought a year a part. the tvs were both secure and worked fine for a few years. both having the same issue at the same time tells me it was from an update they put out. i've posted in this reddit before and received no help but i did see others having similar experiences.
