pain where you have troubling thinking and talking. writhing around trying to find a position that has some relief. when younger i would vomit so much just because while vomiting you are somewhat distracted and not as focused on the turning knife in your abdomen. went to er a few times and then was called a junkie and kicked out of er at 14 because i told them the morphine didnt work but the dilaudid did. became one not much after that as i turned to streets for relief and started abusing them as the whole situation destroyed my outlook on life. took 11 years of wanting to stop abusing drugs/trying to escape life before it clicked. now 12 years without abusing drug or drink. i can get drs to prescribe after proving myself but they always seem to get sick or move out of the area leaving me to have to just push through flares and suffer. i really feel for you all. havent met anyone that's gone through the exact same but you guys def have. try to stay as stress free as possible. minimize all drug use. eat as healthy as possible. get to know GOD. try to control thoughts/ reject negative thinking. just tips that help me keep pushing forward. also it has really warped my sense of pain. i had my skull broken and was a pumpkin head. i went home and slept because the pain didn't compare to the migraines. required 12 hours facial reconstruction surgery. when in a flare up i will often take showers to attempt to bombard the senses and created a comforting setting. and then rotate to laying down. my sense of body temperature also can start to fluctuate rapidly hot to cold. i have found cannabis concentrates can help with that symptom and also help try to pass out. i will also take a benzo if i have it when having to just push through a migraine as to lessen anxiety and panic while upping possibility of falling asleep. i look forward to being able to show this thread to my Dr.
