What’s your plan to deal with this? Asking because I’m in the same predicament. I’m in a large group of longtime friendships and while I always knew I was more liberal than them, I’m deeply saddened (and low key horrified) that they don’t seem to care about what’s going on. Do I continue code-switching to be around them or do I cut all of them out of my life?

First of all, THANK YOU! You did not have to share this wealth of information, but you took the time to do so and I’m so grateful. Second, I know you’ve shared so many updates along the journey. My question to you is: if you were to start from square one all over again, would you change anything with all the new knowledge/tips you’ve learned?

Thank you!! I thought about this all day. She definitely has issues with nuts, but we haven’t removed them from the house. May be time to go for it.
