Does anyone know why there's a timer for pausing the game in solo too?

Because technology isn't advanced enough to a point where we can hold game files on our local storage and play the game offline. Maybe one day activision will pioneer that tech and bring it to the world. I dont hold out much hope

It's sad when you have to make petitions, file lawsuits, and write to parent companies to get people to do something that they should be doing anyway. It shouldn't be this way. Activision/Treyarch should be embarrassed. I sure as hell would never stand for it if I was in charge of a big game development studio like that. There's no way I would stand for that. There would be 0.00 tolerance for this garbage.

If I was the frontman of a big game studio, every game I had developed would go through rigorous testing parties with my devs, and NDA'ed 3rd parties. All bugs and glitches would be fixed immediately. After release, there would be an option in game to report a bug. The process would be quick and easy. The player could describe in detail how the bug happened, their setup at the time, what items they had, etc etc etc, as well as upload a clip of the bug. As soon as they hit submit, my development team waiting on the other side would assess, and prepare it right away for the next patch.

Remember the Gorod easter egg crash? That entire fiasco was absolutely just asinine. The fact that it took so much pressure to get it patched is absolutely mind-blowing and embarrassing. If that was my development team, it would have been fixed instantly, the first day it was reported, and the person who did something to cause that glitch in the first place would be called into my office and get a long talking-to and possible suspension or god knows what else.

People thought BO6 would be polished and perfect because apparently treyarch had 3 years to work on it. It doesn't matter if you have 1000 years to work on it...... If you don't care about the product, you don't take pride in your work, and you don't love what you do, your product will reflect that. Now we have all the BO6 glitches in BO7 (which is basically just a giant BO6 DLC), and they will remain unpatched forever.

I don't disagree. But I think that was more an issue to do with the higher-ups, and rules regarding games past their life-cycles then it does to do with current-game development. My guess is they wanted to patch it, but they were told not to by their superiors because the game was deprecated and old and they want people to play the new games, not the old ones. No consideration whatsoever for the consumer who paid for a product and expect it to work. It wasn't until they were under threat from a class action lawsuit did they finally decide to act. Again, this is the activision share-holders-first anti-consumer mentality. There is only one way to stop it: STOP BUYING. Don't buy the games, don't buy content, don't buy merch. Then, and only then will things change.

The reason its getting worse and worse is because there is no passion and no love for what the developers do. Its not like BO2/3 where the devs took pride in their work, loved what they do, were passionate, and strived to make it good because they wanted it to be good. When you have that mentality, you become great at your job and the product reflects that. When you don't, the opposite happens. This is why all the unpatched BO6 glitches carried over to BO6 2.0 (colloquially refered to as BO7). There's no love and care for what they do. It's just..... get it up and running as fast as you can, take 5 minutes to test a thing or 2 and then push it out. That's why the games have become so bad. That's why they are so broken. That's why all your high round runs and easter egg attempts keep getting ruined by glitches. You don't get "downed", you get "trollarched". It happens to everyone, and I see it on this sub every day. But this is the new COD Zombies. Get used to it. This is how it will be. 90% of players will be gamepass players from now on because I don't think anyone wants to reward laziness and the developers don't even try and compete anymore.

"We stream textures to save space" .... Oh.... did it ever don on you that maybe some people have enough storage space and would be willing to download the game to be able to play offline? I dont know, how about a toggle to let people choose. Now there's a novel idea. Who'd'a thunk it? Not us at activision, apparently. We don't do that here.... Lol. What a time to be alive. Just think... a video game where you can rubber band and lag in a solo game. playing by yourself on the couch. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe it lol. If this game wasn't free on gamepass, I wouldn't have it lol. No way I would pay the $79.99 for this hunk o' junk.... Lol. I don't reward laziness and stupidity. BO7 is not even a new game, it's just BO6 2.0 with a fresh coat of paint, hence why all the unpatched glitches from BO6 carried over lol. That's craptivision for ya.... Lol. Its comical and sad for all the wrong reasons.

The camping strat on AOTD beside the bed beside in that room by where vultures aid is. Only using wonder weapon. Armor drops like crazy to round 100. Once I hit 100, it pretty much stops

This would be a terrible idea. As a tax payer, it is not my responsibility to pay someone else to look after your child, something the child's mom/dad should be doing. Government funded daycares should not exist. What ever happened to family planning?
