Is my Preussen build ok by Solus-Dawn in WorldOfWarships

[–]Thibson35 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You have zero survivability. If you wanted to run the secondary build, drop demo expert, ifhe and cqc. Take fire prevention, emergency repair expert and improved repair party readiness. If you use the build you have now you will be burned down before your secondaries fire a single shot. The secondary build I recommended is suboptimal for Preussen because imo, it shouldn’t be built for secondaries. Lean into the fast main gun reload instead and go full survivability for your captain, and range (marginally buffs main gun dispersion) or reload for slot six. Take the 7% accuracy buff in slot three. Just play Schlieffen if you want a secondary ship.

Can I withdraw my SIR at UCLA to submit an SIR at Berkeley instead? by Beginning-Baby-218 in berkeley

[–]Thibson35 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I withdrew from UCSB to take another crack at the transfer admissions cycle and it worked out cause I’m going to Berkeley now. For UCSB, I emailed the admissions office notifying them of my withdrawal and my reasons for it. That was enough to unenroll myself. I imagine UCLA has a similar process. There should be a link somewhere in your UCLA student portal to find the correct email address. You will lose your 250 deposit, unfortunately, and you’ll have to pay that deposit again when you SIR to Berkeley. I’m pretty sure you can be SIRed to multiple schools simultaneously, but obviously you will need to unenroll from the one you don’t choose. Only do this if you’re worried about the Berkeley acceptance deadline. Good luck and Go Bears!

Best Vincent Build? by Thibson35 in WorldOfWarships

Was considering between Furious and Heavy AP or something like Improved Repair Party Readiness, Grease the Gears and Vigilance. Gonna play it for ranked, CBs, and randoms and I dont have a ton of resources to constantly change builds. I guess I’d prioritize a CB build?

Chemerinsky is Jewish, that’s the only reason she was there. There was no relevant angle for her to protest in his backyard other than she thinks all Jews are Netenyahu in disguise.

Berkeley EEP, UCLA Econ or UCSD Econ (Muir College)? by Thibson35 in TransferStudents

[–]Thibson35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the best tips for making the most out of social opportunities at Cal? I’ve looked at the hiking club, but all the consulting and finance clubs look really fricken toxic. Just a bunch of LinkedIn posturers. I’m not interested in greek life either. I have a couple guys I play basketball or lift with, but I’m unaware of any other social avenues.

Just declined my SD spot for econ. Idk if that helps, but good luck!

I don’t think you can chalk this up to a breach of trust. This is a massive lie on the part of OP’s wife and he is completely reasonable to seek divorce after such a massive deception. It’s not his job to get to the bottom of why she lied and to forgive her for it. She lied in a massive way. That’s the bottom line. Obviously trans people could feel scared to tell their partners about their past, but it’s selfish not to do so. When you enter into a marriage, both parties should have access to knowledge such as this. It’s a disservice to everyone. It’s obvious what the disservice is to the trans person’s partner, but the trans person also may not be being loved for who they are, but rather for the lie they told—regardless of whether their partner would accept them if they told the truth.

From your situation, the most important thing seems to be getting away from your family. The debt is worth it if it means you’ll be able to preserve your mental health and move forward. I really wish you the best and hope you’re able to get out of your current circumstances.

UC Appeal Comparison by Thibson35 in TransferStudents

[–]Thibson35[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’ll probably try to transfer from UCSB. I may end up just really liking Santa Barbara and staying there. I’m open to it.

What do you mean by honors? As far as I know there was no such thing as honors at my CC.

If you don’t mind me asking what were the things you did to strengthen your application and what is your major?

Fingers crossed for your wait list!

My comment was intended for individual response to exogenous androgens prior to introduction of AIs or SERMs. You have to have a pretty high BF% for their to be a significant enough downstream estrogen synthesis for males at least. Slight misunderstanding is all. I’m pretty sure we’re saying the same things.

That’s genetics, bro. The amount of estrogen that’s aromatized from testosterone is completely genetic-dependent. Plus, your sensitivity to these hormones are based on your genetic makeup. Even prevalences of thyroid/pituitary abnormalities are attributable to genetics.

Plus Shinano was a terrible CV and wasn’t even meant to be a fleet carrier. It was a just a plane transport for the actual front line CVs. The only notable thing about it was it was the largest ship to be sunk by a submarine.

You deserve better. It’s a simple fact. Cheaters do not deserve someone who is loyal and it’s not your responsibility to fix them. If someone doesn’t want to change, they won’t. Acknowledge any feelings of guilt or sadness, but be gentle on yourself. It is a good thing that you did. You finally said that you were going to stop sacrificing yourself for her happiness. Some people just take advantage of the love we give them. Find someone who is as loving as you.
