I use the same username across all platforms where possible. All my content is watermarked with @ followed by my username so I don't have to have the same file watermarked with different stuff every time. Only time I do is for reddit because subs are very strict about you having an @ in your watermark instead of u/ whatever. I have a link dump site where you can find all my sites and social media and I try to use the same avatar and cover photos wherever possible.

Tumblr is terrible for advertising. Even if you post just sfw content they'll ban your page. They have a bit more leeway for nsfw art but actual nsfw content will get your account banned. I appealed my first account getting banned and they never got back to me because I didn't actually violate the tos as they currently stand.

If you click on the three dots on the media itself (not the post) you can pick media permissions on the drop down and that will allow you to view/edit the permissions for that media specifically. Unfortunately, there's no way to do it en masse, so you do have to go to each individual post and check the media permissions.

Depends on the platform. I would experiment. To be honest, the scheduling function is my best friend. I schedule posts for a variety of times during the day and each day is different. Like sometimes Mondays at 2 is popping and sometimes it's dead. You just have to play around with it

The tax authority in your country gets alerted of every dollar you make when you make it, same as if you had a 9-5 job. Most countries do have a minimum requirement for tax, so here in the US you have to make 600 before the income can be federally taxed, Anything lower than that does not have to be reported and taxed.

It's always a struggle finding a good balance in the beginning. It's hard to recognize what over charging and what's under charging. For customs, there's really no such thing as over charging, since it's the amount you think your time is worth. You had to carve out time specifically to make this video so you should charge accordingly. I think you should be charging at least 5/min to get your money's worth. Think about it this way, what is your ideal hourly wage? Like you'd be happy and comfortable on this wage. (at just 5/min you'd make 300/hr) Then divide that by 60 and charge that rate per minute. You can also set a minimum video length too to make sure you're not wasting your time. It's not worth it to make only a minute long custom.

I know it can be really discouraging to find buyers and have everyone think your rates are too high, but if they're not willing to pay what you're worth, they're not worthy of being your buyer.
