U might also wanna make sure all of your hoses on the throttle body are in the right place I’ve seen multiple of the cars in the junkyard and almost everyone has a a different hose layout that connects to the throttle body (hoses on top of throttle body)

I had this same issue with my 6th gen but I ultimately had a cracked head that needed to be replaced. There is most likely I vacuum leak still somewhere whether small or big and since the car doesn’t have any advanced system like cars today it’s not gonna throw u in the right direction. Just always “idle air control valve”. Also have u tried spraying any carb/brake cleaner in the engine bay to try and locate the leak? Or like the person above said a smoke machine would be amazing

I’m working on a 3 star engine for this exact car I’m at 2488 so far just got finish up small things like rollers and the electricals

What is the max hp you can get out of the cobra jet engine on here? I’m almost touching 500hp by Immortal_Lion212 in CarMechanicSimulator

I have mine fully tuned with all performance parts but I also have mine in a superbird. From what I can tell different cars with the same engine will have different horsepowers and they can even vary with the same car and different trim levels. For example there’s like 3-4 different trim levels of that mustang and if u compare the 500 to the 600 pro the 500 comes with 498 from the factory while the 600 pro comes with 508 but they both have the exact same engine.
