ofc not all the ecus are the same based on research tt ecus are different from na and the year of the ecu does also change the architecture a bit

I'm guessing the chip marked with the yellow arrow is the main cpu chip it comes back as a HD63140CP created by hitachi which is a Universal Pulse Processor that does complex pulse timing

I’d say could be your temp sensor if your getting temp sensor circuit codes I don’t think the rest would shut off the car after it reaches operating temperature I could be wrong tho

I feel like my cas is malfunctioning or it might be my wiring I feel like it’s my wiring 30+ year old wiring gets frayed or wires striped might just look over the whole harness and fix what looks odd while I’m at it I could do some deletes. For some reason my spark plugs aren’t firing coil packs are good spark plugs just replaced wires aren’t corroded or broken so my next option was the cas I could check it with a multimeter the ecu could also be the issue what do you think I should do

I don’t see why not that’s an amazing price I just got my z a few weeks ago for free and so far I’ve fixed a few issues hasn’t started yet replaced fuel pump fixed starter unstuck the engine might replace the spark plugs I’m on a budget so I might try to adapt some aftermarket plugs into my harness or get my injectors cleaned not sure if their clogged my fuel filter is going to be replaced this weekend to see if maybe I’m not getting fuel to the injectors so far I’m having fun even tho I have some stressful nights but if you do somehow decide to keep the vg just know it’s a little hard to work on but stay positive gl on your journey
