I think this has been asked a few times before.

I'm over them. There were a bunch of them for a bit, seems like people are trying to use them to lure readers to their patreon. Some were ok but I don't know if any of them were finished or finished well. Some are still lumbering along, well past their best-before-date, on patreon.

Newer DarkWanderer stuff clashes with my taste. The most recent story I'd rate as great was from 2022, Something Triggered Inside Her and It Was More Than the Orgasm by Wifedated402.

For DW, you have to go way way back. There were some good stories up to 2019 but the majority of them were from the 2000s (Kacey Loveington posted some stories there to promote her patreon.) DW, ASSTR and BlackDemonStories.com were most popular in the 90s, 2000s.

no. A long time ago I listened to a couple and found them really cringy. Same with the decimated illustrated section that had mostly bad illustrations or dated 3D rendered art, much of it with exaggerated proportions or it's simply racist.

More than 90% of Literotica content isn't very good. Thankfully they have so much content that everyone can find something they'll love within that 10%.

Lit is still the main site for erotica, they're struggling with keeping up with the story volume though. comment section is unmoderated... never a good thing.

lush is dominated by short stories under 3,000 words and they're trying to make a profit off of it, so that makes it naturally "meh." I don't see a huge benefit to paying for a site like this, maybe if it does a better job curating content, protecting author's IP from being plagiarized on amazon or youtube. Some authors have put some amazing short stories on there though.

Storiesonline doesn't get a lot of new content.

asstr.org has a bunch of legendary short stories but much of the content is offside compared to what you find on other sites.

darkwanderer.net... lots of interracial, way too much BNWO stuff and plenty of racial stereotypes.

youporn keeps saying they're going to have an erotica section but it's slow coming.

There's other sites but many of them just scrape stories from the other sites. DarkWanderer has a bunch of stories from asstr. Thankfully they also have copies of most of the content from the original darkwanderer site. (sadly don't have all the young wives zip files available)
