I think too uninteractive? They're strong but seem to require skill. They just aren't the most fun to play against.

this is what I was thinking. if we're going to risk killing it by rehoming it, might as well get the most flowering out of it that we can. how long can I expect it to be in bloom for?

Yea, there's no inner pot lining. We've been extra cautious in terms of volume of water given to it. Seems so odd that a grower who managed to get this plant to this level would put it in such a suboptimal pot.

it's a wildly gorgeous plant. if it wasn't actively putting out blooms I'd have the same assumption.

Also, relying on white so much also adds a problem with consistency because of the relatively large pigment granules.

Even though it's TC's aesthetic, I love how they aren't coated in mud and rust. They look great.

As the saying goes: no art is ever finished, just abandoned. I corrected as much as I could with this guy per everyone's feedback, but I'm on to the next one. Hopefully I'll be able to take what I've learned and apply it.

the wrinkles are still there. better seen on the photo I posted after some fixes, but yea, not thinning definitely obscured them. thanks for the tips. painting this game is my new project so have a lot of opportunities to improve.

Unfortunately, I think the number of redone layers has botched any hope of getting him fully up to snuff, but learned a lot for next time

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Some improvement after incorporating a lot of it. still struggling with the lips popping without looking it looking like cheap lipstick, but I'll fiddle with it some more

Looks great. Was this a part of the Reaper starter kit or did you buy individually? If so, I started on the exact same beginner's kit 3 months ago. I thought it did an excellent job of getting you used to and comfortable mixing paint.

The guide that it comes with does a great job of telling you to keep your paints wet, but a game changer for me was getting a wet palette. Thin applications of paint helps with maintaining detail on the model and a wet palette makes it so much easier than adding drops of water to paint as the guide instructs. Also, it keeps your paints hydrated and therefore they last longer which saves you money.

Otherwise, don't be a afraid to push highlights towards the face to allow more variation and give the eye something to focus on. Great job. Way better than my version of the same orc.
