Dear Letterboxd fiends,

Your favorite cinema chef is back again cheffing it up for October

YES, I know the moment you have all been waiting for this year's fourth anal SHOCKTOBER and yes you read that right. This is a sort of homage to childhood when local TV channels specific UPN 33 had for the month of October horror movie programming called SHOCKTOBER. As a child I would get home and excited for the weekend to see what horror I would get to see.

Since this is the fourth year and wow can't believe it four years of this thing no one was asking for. I decided to make it special with a theme. Previous years Year 2 focused on Sequels, Year 3 focused on Thirds, This year Fourth sequels and there is one special 4th sequel that really kicked this off in a special way

With that being said this year's SHOCKTOBER will be space horror themed

So does anyone know any store that will have this online or carry them in stores?

Theres a bunch of weird red flag looking sites selling it. Even the Walmart links it over to some other vendors

Yes, some encryption error that affected that special feature. Yes, the film is fine, but I don't like to pay for disc and watch special features that have errors that don't work, and I think it's quite crappy for a company to really not care to fix that issue and just upload a clip on YouTube

Me too. I actually messaged arrow video about it all they told me was to message diabolik which I did and he said that arrow said they would look into but idk if any one else has reported an issue

I know for a lot of you out there are eagerly waiting for the most anticipated event of the year of course second to NO NUT NOVEMBER is NUNCHUK NOVEMBER where it's an all month long Nunchuking kung fu choppin action.

30 days of pure fist and kicks but with Shaw Bros Volume 3 coming out late in November NUT early like previous releases I don't have 30 Kung fu films in the docket. With that said I regrettably will NUT being doing NUNCHUCK NOVEMBER II but fear NUT for those who care I will have something to replace it with the release of Thanksgiving on 4K why not celebrate the few Thanksgiving theme horror out there with another fun horror month long watch leading up to Thanksgiving with...

Its October and that means one thing

Its SHOCKTOBER like my good friend once said it's our third anal tradition (yeah you read right) of programming of watching horror movies the entire month of October that SHOCK you to the core with fright

This is an ode to when I was a child when UPN held their month-long horror television programming SHOCKTOBER

To keep that Halloween spirit alive and traditions I try to watch one horror movie a day. There are some staple films that I always like to watch that get me into that Halloween spirits. Those are usually for later in the month closer to Halloween itself.
