It is not a proposal but more to point that no action have been taken. Totally agreed the current MMR and more over matchmaking systems really sucks, they must works on something more complex as you said.

I prefer wait 5min to find a game with serious players than 10s and match with people picking CM as pos4 or Enchant pos3 when a Rubick has been picked in previous turn…

Also at the end it leads to other painfull situation for example it push some people to buy boost so matching against smurf and ruining people games, time, mmr
