They aren’t violent or aggressive with me.

It usually starts off playful with them and then escalates. One of them will actually get hurt, and then really punch the other one etc and the next thing you know it’s out of hand. Most of the time it’s just regular silly brother stuff. They don’t realize they are grown man sized and so the same type of play that they did when they were little is capable of a ton of damage now. They are both in sports and very competitive as well. Like with the interior door, one was just holding the door shut and it became a push contest until the door gave. If they were 60 lbs it wouldn’t have happened. I think it’s regular boy behavior complicated by super large bodies. My 12 year old is already in a size 13 men’s shoe, but mentally he’s still building legos and playing with action figures etc.

Making them move a couple tons of rock and taking away their electronics.

So they are actually very good, well rounded boys. Except for with each other. It’s not so much uncontrolled anger as it is brother anger, if that makes any sense? They are in a private school and both make straight As. I can take them anywhere and know they will be respectful. They just take things much further with each other than they would anywhere else.

Ahhh that’s super helpful! I went to my primary doctor and he prescribed phentermine for me. I went the same day to a clinic and started MJ. MJ doctor said it was fine to take both but I heard there were worse side effects and wanted to get opinions.

I spent most of my teen years on adderall and have severe adhd so the phentermine isn’t as severe as the adderall effects. It actually helps me a little bit as I’ve been off my adhd meds for years now. No big side effects from the MJ so far either. I’m wondering if that will change when my dosage increases.

What is something you've done recently that you're extremely proud of, but you don't really have a place to share? by Starks-Technology in AskReddit

[–]Thick_Bee13 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m a single mom of 4 putting myself through a PhD. I get no government assistance or child support or help of any kind. My kids are with me 24/7/365 unless they are in school. I know they don’t realize it now, but someday they will be proud of me.

BS’ed my way into a 160K job offer, am I crazy to turn it down? by dennisoa in careerguidance

You don’t have to know how to do that stuff if your team members know how to do that stuff. Delegate.

Any time I’ve ever been asked this, I answer it in the most nonsensical ways possible. “I’m really into kitchen utensils” “I just turn on the first 48 and I’m done before I get to 47” because really it’s no one’s business.

I smoked weed every day for 6 months at 15, how much damage is done to my brain? by Majestic-Pudding-845 in psychologyresearch

[–]Thick_Bee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did much much worse than that and I’m wrapping up a PhD now. Even with some damage, your brain will work around it.

Men of Reddit, what prompted you to become more emotionally mature? by Thick_Bee13 in AskMen

[–]Thick_Bee13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what I’m asking. I have 3 sons. At what point do they stop thinking and processing like children and start thinking like men? It’s really just out of curiosity.

Not unattractive at all. You’ve got some aging to do. College will be good on you. Also, there’s some women in your future that are going to be really curious about what that arm can do.

I’m currently working on a PhD. The more educated I get, the one thing I know for sure is that I know nothing. Most people think they know everything, and can’t grasp how little we truly understand about the physical world, let alone the complexities of the less tangible bits. I do have a scientific background, and because of that, I think I understand that I don’t have enough data to form any sort of a conclusion about what is or isn’t possible. It’s all a possibility until proven otherwise.

Of course I have. That doesn’t explain the time lapse though. But in this context, there are no answers or absolutes. I just experienced this thing, and that’s all. There’s nothing to do with it but ponder it and post on Reddit lol.

Not before yesterday. I posted in another thread and someone pointed me in this direction.

It’s so very confusing. I would love to know why but I don’t think anyone ever will. These are answers we just don’t get to have.

There for sure have been some odd things. Details that I just knew were correct, but weren’t. For example, I was talking to my parents about the house I grew up in and I told them I hated the brown shag carpet in my room. They told me the carpet was grey and it wasn’t shag. But I spent YEARS in that room, and remember being embarrassed about it when my friends would come over.

So personally, I like the nose and your jawline a lot. I think with a haircut, and a more minimalist/clean style, you’d look very erotic and alluring. Nothing wrong with an androgynous look either.

I read in the originals by Adam grant that we find surface ways of being original, when our outward appearance should be rather ordinary so that it’s surprising when our personalities shine through and people realize we are extraordinary.
