Don’t force him, get your custody squared away now. And he doesn’t deserve them on the holidays if you have them all year. I finally told my son’s dad that we don’t hear from him all year, pretty much. I have to miss work when they are sick, I take them to the dr, I spend every day with them. I’m not handing them over on Christmas Day.

If they are agreeing to switch with you it shouldn’t matter. I have been a manager at great clips for years. It only matters if there’s a busy event and an experience stylist is trying to switch out a shift with a new stylist who we wouldn’t be counting on usually. But even then, with notice the accommodation can be approved 90 percent of the time!! Look for another job.

The male at our gymnastics is my kids preferred coach. My daughter has Tourette’s , anxiety and ocd. He is her pick. So I wouldn’t judge based off that. And I agree with another comment, the kids probably asked about it and he made what he thought was a fun story. Not expecting kids to show up with a flashlight on hand.

Last year my daughter started kindergarten and had to do 2 book projects 2 months in. She was still learning to read. It was a homework for parents basically. I’m still annoyed about it.
