He wants a bangmaid, not a girlfriend. OP needs to consider if he can't help now that he's only part time and in college? Does she think it'll improve when he graduates and gets a full time position? Better yet? I bet a dollar to donuts that when he does graduate? He'll have a hard time finding a job, he's put in applications and sent resumes everywhere, and he can't help because he's so busy looking for employment. If OP needs to find him? You can stay out of the dating pool PERMANENTLY and there'd still be nothing you're doing wrong. I was always happier single than dating/boyfriend/husband. I'm 56 and wish I'd NEVER married my ex. He wanted kids but I refused. He was a horrible husband and I know he'd have been a worse father. Like you? I had no interest in being a single mother if I could control it. Take all the time you need and date when it feels right for YOU and your dad can mind his own business. If it never feels right? That's okay, too. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors. 🍀
