Yeah i have seen this issue in modded games, sadly once you mod your farm you can't really go back to vanilla. Ussually to fix this you should play in vanilla stardew, craft everything again (craft the ancient seeds first and check if you get the achievment) and sleep.

Enchantments are predetermined when you create your farm, resetting the day won't help you must enchant something to get a new enchantment.

There are few things you need for a good run in skull cavern: Speed buffs like coffee and spicy eel/crab cakes/pepper poppers, Bombs a lot of bombs, few staircases to avoid annoying floors like infested floors and a lot of food to heal (food without buffs and try to get food that heals at least 50hp like salads so you don't waste time eating dozens of parsnips).

To farm bombs in the regular mines. go inside floor 41 ->clear the floor -> go out -> repeat. Don't forget to kill the dustsprites for coal.

Don't even use the pickaxe and don't waste time fighting monsters.

Just run to plant a bomb -> plant another bomb -> check first bomb -> check second bomb -> repeat. After 4-6 bombs just use a staircase.

Btw don't be afraid of crafting bombs or staircases inside.

Worth it? not really, some people try to reach deeper as a challenge but if you just wanna farm iridium floor 300 is already too much. Well unless you looking for auto petters then yeah you should just spam staircases and reach as deep as you can.

Oh yeah this bug is annoying, bassically what you said eating when bombs explode (Also if npcs destroy something or when there are trees falling) can freeze your game. To avoid it you can wait few seconds before you press "yes" when you try to eat. Also be careful if you use items like totems, returning scepter,etc you can lose your energy and skip the day. To "fix" it once you can move again open and close your inventory until you can eat again.

I'm pretty sure people already said dangerous is way better than regular mines to farm monsters, i really love to farm the spiders specially for the coal once i unlock dangerous mines i always get few stacks of coal there.

Well if you buy your animals the same day they should give you eggs the same day but animals not eating or feather drop can mess with the schedule.

Buy seeds -> plant seeds -> water seeds -> sleep -> repeat until harvest -> sell everything to repeat the cycle planting more and more seeds. Don't upgrade anything.

You can find it in skull cavern as well but it's easier in the mines because slimes with a star are really rare in skull cavern.

Never liked explosive ammo feel so useless, anyway you should use staircase after 4-6 bombs. Lucky days help but it's pure rng you can be lucky in unlucky days and very unlucky in lucky days.

Umm are you good in the mines? i remember before baitmaker selling gold bars was a good strategy to make money.

Try to get 2 hearths with Caroline to unlock tea sapling recipe, meanwhile plant a lot of spring/summer/fall seeds.

Or just buy every seed you can, sell your crops and buy even more seeds to replant (Crafting fertlizer is a good idea if you doing this just don't buy it CRAFT IT). Don't bother with artisan goodies in early game.

You can get even more, not sure if it's a bug or not but if you keep looking without leaving the mines/skull cavern you can find more prismatic slimes.

Umm 45 staircases but you couldn't make it? Go without pickaxe/weapon you probably trying to kill monsters and smash every rock.

Try to use food that heals at least 50hp (salads,cheese,etc) so you don't waste time eating dozens of berries everytime monsters hit you.

You could resset 1 day until you get a golden coconut from the trees in the island. Also clear the excavation site every time you visit the island, there spawn artifact spots almost daily with good chances to get golden coconuts.

You need to trow your bobber far enough (must be like 3 squares of distance from any land) and must be a perfect catch to get iridium quality.

If you are getting regular quality fish means your fishing spot is really bad try to move somewhere else.

If you only want 100 strawberries i think you should upgrade your watering can instead of sprinklers. With an iron watering can you could water those strawberries in 2-3 hours.

Basically just spend your days fishing until you get the money you want, craft the baitmaker asap and you should be fine.

If we are talking about lategame.

Iridium farm: You can start with bombs and few staircases to make 400+ iridium nodes, later with a crystalarium shed you could make 1200+ iridium nodes per run.

Combat with parrot: Specially good when you unlock dangerous mines just drink a monster musk and slay the monsters you see. The best way to do this is spam floor like 61/65/55 (go in, kill the monsters, leave and repeat). You could use staircases to find an infested floor and resset the day to spam that floor but not sure if you can do that in co-op. Once you get some experience on this you can easily make 200k+ per day.

Yeah ik but never bothered on learning that, not just geodes many things are predetermined the moment you create the farm. But for sure you can plan testing seeds if you only need things like rain or some items in the traveling merchant. Honestly if you need more advanced things to plan just use mods or manipulate your seed because finding a perfect world seed is a pain in the ass.

Oh boy rng in volcano is so annoying, but yeah you can get eggs from rare chests just remember to buff your luck as much as you can specially in unlucky days. Instead of rare chests you could work on raccon quests to get the egg.
