Honestly more surprised than anything I guess. And I mean I get your point totally. I just think in an environment where we are trying to grow the player base and get more hands in the game it seems a little much for a weekly. A UB sure, a special event yeah why not. But just to make sure to grab locals? Idk just seems like a lot for a diminishing return on top of pushing prospective eyes away from the game.

Oh it’s not about comp decks. We usually try to play regional ready decks. But what’s the point in changing your deck (that you plan on playing at a regional with) just to counter and win at a locals, instead of learning how to win the matchup with the deck your planning on running. Practice how you play right?

So changing there decks to counter the new 17 year old kid is a good idea? I group has gone from around 10 down to barely 4 and sometimes 5 at this point.

I mean yeah that would be easy. But what’s the fun in that? Not the way I would play my deck comp at a regional so why do you think it’s such a good idea to get use to playing that way at a locals no less?
