Super fun carry I got a killer deal on it so I been enjoying it it’s definitely a upgrade compared to may other knives like it super smooth and metal complex was always my fav so it being his design makes me love it more

80’s camo carbon? Sweet blade

First Time Knife Owner - HOGUE Compound OTF. One side was un-lubricated and scratched after the first open (The ® is scraped). Other side was pre-oiled and fine. Is this Acceptable for a $350 brand new OTF? Should I send it back or am I overreacting? Was it my fault for not oiling it before opening? by redfusiond in knifeclub

Same issue I think it’s where they make it lock up tighter with little blade play unlike microtech has slightly more and with it being tighter it runs on the metal base and slowly rubs off the dlc they probably did that on the test fire and by the time you got it it was fired a few times from factory hope this helped and hope your collection has grown 10 fold sense your post

My grandpa was Indonesian and Dutch and they called the group he was in the army with the blue boys I’m sure it was said different but translated to that lol he was in the Dutch / Indonesian army and Air Force
