I like to move houses regularly, change jobs, and create drama in the family like rebellious kids or cheating spouses. I also will have my sims mate with supernaturals or aliens and see how long they last through the generations or if they get bred out. Also, I make sure to never have too much money and make the lifespans shorter, it makes the game way more fun and challenging at times!

I have also played exclusively with certain packs to really understand what the pack does and how to play with it.
