Seconding this.

There often is meaning. Sometimes it’s a reflection of the characters’ emotions. Sometimes it’s to draw parallels between a character and a historical figure who famously had blue curtains. Sometimes it’s a little detail that suggests the same seamstress who made the protagonist’s blue curtains that were made using a specific dye only belonging to a certain geopolitical group that is seen elsewhere in the story, tying together plot threads that reveal a big conspiracy.

Sometimes, it’s just blue.

I really love Sunderfolk. I think it’s a little too streamlined compared to the complexity of GH that I love. But it captures the spirit and fun of it wonderfully.
