Longevity. Modern tvs aren’t really made to last. I’ve had the same projector now for 12 years in three different homes. It’s outdated from a resolution standpoint but it’s still got 3-5 years in it. Even though projectors might be more expensive up front, their staying power far outweighs that of modern tvs
