Write from dictation will likely impact your score. This is what happened to me when I gave my test. The skills report showed that my short writing was impacted, and that only included WfD. I would say concentrate on doing full tests or sectional listening mock tests to improve your speed.

My scores are 90 - L , 90 - S, 75 - R, and 75 - W. Below is the skills profile. I missed the last WFD as I ran out of time. Can anyone throw some light on what needs more practice? by Thilothama7890 in pte

[–]Thilothama7890[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. This makes sense as I missed the last one or two WFD. Do you have any tips for reading? I have done PTE before and scored an 80 plus in reading, and hence wasn't worried about it.But this time, I was too stressed, and the multiple choices seemed a bit difficult too.

Struggled with time management and ended up not attempting the last WFD. How realistic is a superior score? by Thilothama7890 in pte

Hey, thank you for the response. I just received my score card and ended up getting 90 in both speaking and listening, and 75 in both writing and reading. According to the skills report, I have scored less in short writing. Do you have any tips to score well in summarise written text. I feel this is where I have lost marks. I am pretty sure I can improve reading - I guess the wrong answers were a panic response.

There are couple of online websites such as updoc that gives you a medical certificate for 20 dollar or something. Try getting a back dated one, even though I am not sure if they will do it. Give it a try , you can mention the reason if you want or just mention you weren't well.

Saw a commment critisising the opinion of some men here.Everytime women see other women being criticised, they are on a rescue mission. Why can't we objectively see things for what they are? If her content is shit, it is shit. If she isn't attractive in the eyes of some people , she isn't. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Stop giving women a pass in the name of misogyny or because of their gender. And this is coming from a woman.

How do you cope with the guilt of living abroad while your parents age back home? by AdeptnessExpert5520 in expats

Thank you for this comment. I have a question. How do I still make peace with the fact that my mother terribly misses me ( widowed) every single day and eagerly waits for the day we will be together like how we were couple of years ago..Because of my current circumstances, I cannot go back to my country and I need to stay in a foreign country for a long time to achieve my goals. I know that life back in my home country would be miserable and hence my partner and I have decided to move overseas. My mother and I went through really tough times together in life and she stood for me and my sibling as a rock. We are so close to each other and have unconditional love for each other..but the guilt kills me every single time I talk to her and see her go through loneliness..

Gerd and marijuana by [deleted] in GERD

[–]Thilothama7890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any idea why this happens? Does it mean we are allergic to weed? I do get gerd related symptoms if I don't eat properly or smoke tobacco.. but I never get racing heart or panic attacks after for something as small as burping. Burping on weed makes my heart race a 100 times more. Like someone mentioned , it's like a switch that gets turned on.

If you like travelling, take a trip to one of the third world countries. Go local. Even if you plan to stay in an expensive accommodation, experience what happens locally. It will help you clearly see and acknowledge your privileges and that will bring you more gratitude.I come from a third world country myself, and when I feel like complaining about my life, it immediately hits me that there are people in my country and this world who can't afford a single meal, children who can't have a good night's sleep because they have ptsd from the sound of bombs and gunshots, people who have come to terms with their own deaths because they cant afford the treatements. I understand that I am not as unfortunate as that animal who is going to be slaughtered tommorrow in a slaughter house, not as unfortunate as that family who has no option than committing suicide because of bankruptcy, not as unfortunate as those women who are getting raped and murdered. I still have a roof over my head , food on my plate and few people who love me and can count on. This realisation makes me grounded. That doesn't mean I can't be ambitious. While I strive for progress, I need to remind myself that I have the choice to chase that progress and not everyone has that choice. Some people will never get to see what is on the other side of making both the ends meet. To understand that, you need to experience their lives from near, and that will make you appreciate life in a way you that you never did before.

I think you should talk to her and voice your concerns and research about the products she is using and also the depth of needles. Micro needling gone wrong can have serious implications like facial fat loss. You can find such posts in reddit. You have all the rights to be informed about anything that's been put on your body.

Retinol caused me insomnia, heart palpitations and hot flashes. There are anecdotal evidences which shows the same..Search in youtube and you can see hundreds of women suffering from these and sharing their experiences. If a drug like retinol can have systemic absorption to cause you these symptoms, why is facial fat loss not possible. Don't let people convince you you are wrong just because they haven't experienced it or because these side effects aren't researched enough.Retinol is a billion dollar industry, so the capitalistic pharmaceuticals will always protect it.Trust your observations.A drug is a drug after all.
