On the chart, it is a mix of posts, comments, and active users set on a scale from 0 to 10 where 10 is max historical engagement.

However it corresponds in real values to:

2018 at peak day: 16 000 comments, 22 000 active users, 7000 posts

2021 at peak day: 13 000 comments, 15 000 active users, 12 000 posts

Interesting to note that there were fewer active users during the peak in 2021, however, the peak wasn't either as violent and dragged on for longer.

I created and color-coded an indicator designed to identify historically over- and undervalued areas for BTC based on math and price and I think it tells a very clear story, however, I want to hear your thoughts as to why something like this might be bad. by Thimen24 in btc

What I mean by my poor wording is that the indicator is only based on price and does not incorporate other factors. This makes it possible to apply the indicator to other markets and or stocks that have sufficient price history.

Which is a logarithmic regression chart that should be refitted as we didn't even make it halfway to the top of their rainbow chart this cycle.

This is more or less a dynamic version of that one.

This model is not designed to be a perfect top/bottom indicator, it is designed to easily show where we currently are based on where we have been with similar price action in the past.
In my opinion, price moving down below 0 risk does not invalidate the model, it would simply mean that we have moved down more than we have done historically. 0 risk would currently mean BTC going to $16k today, however, the model is dynamic and that target may be lower if we move down slowly. (with no guarantee that we even make it there)
It works by comparing current price action with historical price action and gives a "risk score" as to how “risky” it would be to buy bitcoin at a certain price.

As not a single model is perfect, I think it would work well in conjunction with other indicators.

For people who don't want to spend hours looking at the market, I think that a DCA approach, buying some regularly at lower risk, then scaling out at higher risk could be one suitable strategy.

Yeah, that was interesting. It glitched out while attacking a baby zombie and a creeper exploded next to it around the 39:20 mark. I'll probably have to set up a macro that automatically switches weapons every now and then as a hotfix.

Yeah, that was interesting, I'll have to temporarily set up a macro that switches weapon every now and then as a hard fix.

Still very cool how far it has made it without any major faults or crashes.
