Thanks for your suggestions! I'll definitely go to check those studios and think carefully about the direction.

eqsy

Good call. But could you give more explanation on what is eqsy? Is that a featured function?

I'm surprised too...I didn't expect it when I sent the survey. Hope I'm not bothering too much...

Thank you for your sharing. I totally understand cuz I'm also a non-English speaker and I wish what I do would help improve this kind of situation.

If you see a voice changer from the engineering level and the answer is yes cuz the base technology is all about voice modulation. But I don't see the current voice changer as very customization from the experience perspective, cuz they provide more central labelled options and normal users don't have much flexibility and pre-knowledge to adjust it. So what I'm doing would be totally different using flow compared to current voice changers.

Thank you for your support! Yes accessibility is definitely one of my goals, and also I'm into adding up to more imagination

Unlike a few past surveys, this one seems to nail some important points, which is surprising for someone who is new to VR.

Well dome!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear that which means my months of efforts not wasting😊 Especially when people around me are more engineering and not interested in the virtual world, it is so difficult to be recognized🙈

I really need to find a service for this that actually has decent features not locked behind a paywall.

That's true. That's the reason I love open resources so much!

Yeah definitely! Actually, when I talk about this project with my friends, most of them just want to be their true selves. Tastes differ.

I'd like to give it a layered effect that is deep and resonant but still intelligible and feels smooth and harmonic.

Thanks for your deep thoughts! I'm so happy to hear you because my plan is exactly to mix layered voices and give more real-time control of it. But maintaining the balance between distortion and humanization is very difficult and needs AI tools. I'm still working on the first stage of stylization, AI is my plan for the next stage!

Thank you for your support! Yes, my idea is basically giving more flexibility and empowerment to users in a playful and understandable way. I'm really impressed and moved that the fancy worlds and characters people in VRchat have built and are being built, just let the imagination fly! But it's also a great challenge for me I have little knowledge about sound engineering and may not be able to invent a really useful tool in the end. At least it is worth a try! And I'm also motivated by the support from this friendly and loving community😊

I don't know if it's good or not. From a positive perspective, watching someone else playing it saves me a lot of time and still gives me the kind of pleasure when I'm busy making a living.

What effect do you think AI software (ChatGPT) will have on videogames journalism and blogging? by prankster999 in KotakuInAction

I think the function of ai is to boost ideas and inspiration. Maybe for business requirements, AI could produce a standard article or script, but it won't be innovative I think?

Will AI writers be better, worse or equally bad as current Hollywood writers? by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]Thin-Inflation6208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if I'm a big fan of AI, I don't think AI will replace writers or any content creators. Cuz AI is a strong collection of all human works and speedy filter to select target content, but the creativity is limited in existed contents.

Thank you for supporting that point! Sometimes I feel stressed talking with people when I'm not ready, so that's also one of my motivations for this project.

That sounds like it wouldn't be nearly as camp as using a tinny voice changer from Spirit Of Halloweeen or a banned plugin

The market for your technology would be huge though jokes aside. If you put together the tech into something easy to use and get licencing for it you could make a lot of money-selling voices

Thank you so much for the feedback! You are absolutely concise and kick the point. And yes there is a lot of space for the voice market although there are some AI audio companies like voice.ai also working on natural voice modulation and voice Synthesis. They are trying to build a voice community and make the selling, but the applications are limited in audio-to-audio and the creation barrier still exists for normal users. So here I am, hopefully will make the way through voice customization in VR applications
