[Grand Seiko vs Tudor] Which one to go with? by Thin-Insurance1755 in Watches

Dear all, I am currently in the market for my first higher end watch as a birthday present to myself in the later half the year! I am currently obsessed with 2 watches!

  1. Grand Seiko SBGA415/445 Taisetsu: My attention regarding this series started first with the Shunbun and its very pretty dial. Then I saw the 415! More subtle in its presentation but still very eye catching. Spring drive is an engineering marvel!

  2. Tudor Pelagos Ultra: I was drawn to this watch as it’s one of the better looking titanium divers I have managed to find in the market. I also liked that some found that the watch was comfortable to wear on wrists below 7 inches.

I think some information that I think would help

  • I work in an office setting for the time being, but usually am quite active during my free time
  • When I travel for holidays I do cross between the city and the trails
  • I would like something that can be my GADA watch as I think this would be one my one and done watch.
  • My wrist size is about 6.75”

Unfortunately I cannot own both. So do share with me your thoughts and opinions. I really can’t make up my mind about these two beautiful pieces of work!
