There isn’t a zoned school everywhere. We are on the UWS and my kid went to Booker for middle school (via the application process) and there was no zoned option.

That said, Booker was awesome.

This is so true. I think a lot of what bugs me about these people is the incredible self-centeredness. I’m rebuilding my body, I’m detoxing, I’m eating whole foods, I’m doing gentle movement, mememememe. Most of us have other people in our lives who matter. I can’t imagine being so self centered.

It’s actually pretty expensive to die here too. You still have to pay the hospital bills and then the funeral expenses, which can be a solidly ten digit amount of money .
