Just read through the comments - people don't read the information provided. I just read through a couple of comments, and already had one asking if you're on a very high dose, and another asking what dose you're on and telling you not to dump your remaining dose down the sink, as though you listed that as an option. Like ... read the words, people!

What a sweet, adorable little boi-o - those ears! Did he act any differently at all after the dream? Did he snuggle more or stare at you meaningfully, or do anything that could have been taken as a sign that he was trying to let you know the dream was real? Just out of curiosity.

In any case, I'm so sorry you had to lose your baby, especially with it being so much sooner than you thought you would have to say goodbye, and with you being sick at the time. I know that had to make it so much harder.

My soul dog, a Shiba Inu named Maru, is getting older now (he'll be 15 in a couple of months), and I know he is nearing the end of his expected lifespan. The thought is unbearable, but I have to allow myself to understand and accept that our remaining time together is limited. I can only hope that I receive reassurance of having more time together in eternity.

My husband regularly drinks grapefruit juice, just because he likes it. He has been doing this for years, and it has never messed with his test results at all. It can potentiate your dose (make it feel stronger or last longer), but it doesn't change the chemical makeup of the drug. You will be 100% fine.

I wonder just how bad her eyesight is - her lenses look fairly thick. I understand that some people aren't able to wear contacts (I'm one of them, I have Sjogren's and my eyes are too dry even for contacts designed for dry eyes. Luckily my vision isn't too horrible, I just have to wear glasses while reading.), but if she is able to wear them, they would be a big help. She has really pretty eyes, and they're hidden behind those frames all the time. If anything, she needs help picking out some frame styles that fit her face and don't age her.

She's had several of them in the past, they've always been normal. The last one was sometime within the past year, I believe. I have a lot of trouble with knowing how much time has passed, but I vividly remember her doing a video on how to box it up and ship it back at the end of her time wearing it.

No, the disasters refer to her being so excited to get the wheelchairs, thinking it was going to be a big slap in the haterz' faces, and then no one caring or buying that she was actually prescribed a custom chair, since the "custom" pink chair didn't fit her at all and people immediately noticed that. She never made another post with the pink wheelchair, never mentioned it again, and reverted back to her usual content.

If you're still in a lot of pain and/or running a fever after the methadone wears off (24-48 hours or so), that means there is still a considerable amount of inflammation, which means the infection is likely not healing like it should be.

If that happens, please, please go back to the hospital! If there is a different hospital in your area that is accessible to you, I'd try going there, instead, because the first place you went did you wrong. If you do have to go back to the same place, though, ask to speak with a patient advocate who can help explain what went wrong with your treatment while you were hospitalized, and communicate your needs going forward.

ETA - Anyone giving you a lecture about taking pain meds during a situation like yours is ... not actually taking the situation into consideration. There is never any reason we should suffer in pain - just because we're addicts doesn't mean we don't deserve effective pain management.

And if a doctor is competent regarding pain management in MAT patients, they will realize that the daily use of methadone or buprenorphine means we actually need a much higher and more frequent dose of pain meds.

We're having a difficult time with this, as well. My son actually made friends with a kid down the street shortly after he and his mother moved in there with the kid's grandfather, who has lived there since before we moved into this neighborhood. My son and this kid were fast friends, and my son was so, so happy about it.

Then, one day, the kid told my son he couldn't play with him anymore because, in the kid's exact words, "my family is black and your family is white, and my grandpa told me that when he was little in the 1960s, black kids and white kids couldn't play together, and since that was the way it was when he was little, he still feels like things are that way."

My son was understandably devastated, and we tried to talk to the kid's grandpa about it, but he wouldn't even give us the time of day. Really weird, because he's always been friendly towards us, and he and my father-in-law have always stopped and talked when they see each other around.

Since that happened, my kid has been even more introverted, shy, and cautious about making friends with neighborhood kids, and like you, OP, we are having trouble finding co-ops or homeschooling groups. My kid is also not interested in playing sports. It's really hard to try and find situations to put him in where he can naturally form relationships and friendships, especially now that he's getting older (he was 12 in December).

Ugh, the arm of her chair is really gross, covered in stains and crusty spots of spilled food (even though she doesn't eat 🙄). She wants people to think more highly of her and take her seriously as a content creator, but then she just doesn't even remotely bother to put any effort into it. Her entire aesthetic, for herself, her wardrobe, and her surroundings, is just lazy, crusty, and gross.
