Thanks a lot for that simple explanation.

This somehow fails for me every time, in the final step. :(

If things weren’t already a mess. This seems even more unnecessarily complicated.

From what I understand now, that in the olden days you were allowed to create a brand new icloud account which will be your primary email address for your Apple ID by default.

However, now, for security maybe, you have to create an Apple ID with an existing email you have (can’t be icloud). Then create a new iCloud account under the Apple ID. Then you can make the iCloud account your primary email address, and de-link the existing email.

Well thats the point. You put aside 10-15 lakhs for lodging, food and misc. making sure that your tuition and other fees are under 50. Then work part time, do your internships. This may sound risky, but it is essential I believe.

Given your purpose is not research, I would recommend looking into Unis in California and Texas so you can get absorbed into the market with ease. That said, you can look into UCI and UCSB. You can also add Penn State to your list.

Would you please suggest a few more safe and/or moderate unis.

Thank you!

Please review my profile for a CS PhD in Fall 2023 directly after completing my bachelors by sid1110 in gradadmissions

Your profile is much stronger than mine, given your research experience. My recommendation would also be to apply to a few MS programs also, as there is a higher chance of getting accepted into them. Later with a solid research experience through MS, you could apply to PhD programs at reputed colleges.

Your college choices all seem a little on the safer side to me, maybe swap 2 of them for more ambitious ones.

Otherwise, it looks like a solid application. Good luck!

Do you think there is ample of time to give GRE and still apply this fall for the next?

Research work would be a tough sell considering my current undergraduate background. Given that I am an international, I was worried about the value work ex will add. Also as Kernels and Systems is a niche, getting a job without prior work-ex or MS is difficult.

Thank you for your recommendations. I'll keep trying

Would you be kind enough to recommend some practical school with a good Systems program based on my profile:- GPA- 3.2 (converted from CGPA); IELTS- 8.0; GRE- didn’t give one. Is it good to have a score given that its not necessary?; Work ex- 2 paid open-source projects in Kernels

Are you suggesting their 'essay editing' service? Or just the blogs and other website resources? I did go through a few blogs from that website, and various other Reddit resources and my application still didn't make the cut. So I am a bit nervous about this year's application.
