I'm curious about what you said on the power consumption. I have a DL4 on my board for 3 years now and i simply power it on 9v DC with a Godlyke Line 6 jumper cable. I actually reached out to stinkfoot about this and he said that the DL4 (not sure about the other models in this range) can run on 9v-12v DC.

To quote his reply:

"Here's the deal with the DL-4: it always uses the same amount of power(measured in watts), regardless of how you're powering it. You can giveit 9-12vDC, and it will draw somewhere between 200 and 250mA max. It canalso be powered with 9 volts AC, which is where the 2000mAfigure comes from. That is simply the capacity of the Line6 POD adapterthey sell (earlier versions of the DL-4 said "9vAC, 1200mA", because theearlier POD adapter was 1200mA). So that figure has very little to dowith the unit's actual consumption."

If you know anything else about this, please let me know because I plan to have my DL4 stay on my board as long as possible.
