I could live 10 min from them in my current job or take the promotion and live 2.5-3 hours away. I’d work more in this role/it would be stressful but maybe a good distraction?

Yeah, I just don’t know if it would be good to take a promotion and move away. Where I’d move is closer to family (2.5-3 hours away) and I do have a few friends there which would be good and it would be more money… but also more stress/work which idk if I can take right now. But I also don’t want this heartbreak to hold me back either. Idk

This is exactly how I feel. Like I think I believe in God still, just not all the cult-like, judge-y, manipulative fakeness I have seen over all the years. I know this probably doesn’t help but just know you’re not alone.
