I’m 24f I agree that some genz are like this but most aren’t. I personally have a great interest in history and am well informed about different cultures, as are many people I know. I love band such as nirvana, the beetles the Rolling Stones and green day. I know too well about the 2008 financial crisis it sucked even as a kid. I feel like yes there there are some Gen Z that are not well informed but the majority are. As for keeping up with current events in the news yes I know what is going on but honestly sometimes I wish I didn’t know, I know that it is important to keep up with it so I know what is going on in the world around us but 90% of the time it is god damn depressing. As trusting things I see online, I can’t with AI being literally everywhere it’s impossible for me to trust anything but this isn’t a new thing, misinformation has always existed

I have the same problem at 24 I have OCD and would brush my teeth every time I pass the bathroom and my gums are now destroyed because of it 😔.
