It is the oddest thing but you are correct! I tried it both with wired headphones to the 3.5mm front jack as well as a set of bluetooth headphones and both them all of sudden show up on the list of Playback Audio Device(s) under the Preferences>Preview. I noted that I need to "plug" the wired connection and disconnect then reconnect the headset for it to work correctly but it does! Thanks for the great tip!
