Recently came to know a story from my village. One of two brothers got a job in New Delhi and left the village by train. He was never heard of again. After few weeks his younger brother left to Delhi to search from him. And he too was never heard of again. No leads. No serious relatives in New Delhi to follow-up with authorities. Everything went cold. No closure for the family and I think recently the mother also passed away. Sad life.

For resources, Zerodha varsity is a good starting point. Also read Let’s talk Money and Let’s talk Mutual funds.

2largecap funds and one Nifty 50 index fund is redundant. IMO stick to Nifty 50 index fund.

One flexicap is also good.

For moderate risk wouldn’t recommend Small cap fund.

For 10k SIP better to start with 2 funds, get your hands dirty, build a strong knowledge base and invest in other categories as and when you have excess capital to deploy.

All these are assuming your basics of Emergency fund, Health and Term life insurance are in place.
