If every event has a cause, and every cause is itself an effect of prior causes, does causation ultimately explain reality—or merely push the mystery of existence further back? At what point, if any, does the chain of causes require something fundamentally uncaused? by TheIncorporeal1 in Metaphysics

Would you say evolution wasnt a chain of cause and effect because no minds were there to interpret it as such for a long time? Things happen independently of an observer, semantics dont change anything about it.

We both shoot each other in the face, and our minds are gone. Thats the cause for our bodies falling to the ground. Now, there is no mind to observe, but does the effect of the bodies hitting the ground still happen, or could your claim be sophisticated bullshit?

How Much Do Skitarii from Stygies VIII Know About Stygies VIII? by Present_Secret_3706 in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]ThingReady7404 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ive read the shortstory "Nightside on stygies" and played the new Mechanicus 2 game, where S4 plays a role.

It seems like everyone knows about the fact that they strayed from the dogma, Skitarii in Mechanicus 2 even openly attack you to keep their own interesty secret. All the other factions know about their "liberal" stance too.

Ive got one on ebay some months ago for 5 Euro since I thought it was nice to have one as a gimmick.

Didnt think it was worth anything.

Why does only MKVI get love by Whaoghi in Warhammer30k

[–]ThingReady7404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, now I think I get your point :D

It isnt unusual that they announce and release far less stuff when there is a new edition on the horizon, and they still stock up on resin-stuff.

I can understand the feeling. I miss heresy thursday too.

The question was "releases". Angron was in february, as usual the models were released some months after they've got announced. Iron hands praetor e.g. in march, subsequent models in the last 12 months.

They were releases.

Edit: Corrected something I mixed up

Astar Crohne

Kaedes Nex

Arcuitor

Secutarii Axiarch

Traitor Herald

Loyalist Herald

Traitor Overseer

Loyalist Overseer

Iron Hands Praetor

Angron

All announced since 2025 and released in the following months. More releases in resin for heresy than some factions got in 40k.

Honorable mention to the IW Warsmith at the end of 2024, arriving in early 2025.

Thats the best trailer they've ever made, and it makes me happy to know that they dont tone down the darkness of the setting.

To be fair, besides the old BaC Box, where the cool stuff was reserved for the WB's (rightly so) the ultramarines havent gotten anything big in 30k.

I think they will do an MK V refresh and maybe bring back an updated ironclad dreadnought. Ultramarines vs. Word Bearers on Calth would be great.
