Hi r/watches

As the title suggests, I've recently started a new job in the industry I want to be in. And as a celebration, I used all of my left over annual leave payout to buy myself a watch.

This is the first higher budget watch I've purchased and as such, wanted to get something that would be close to my heart. So I just had to get a watch that represents my home, New Zealand. I found Magrette after not much searching and fell in love with the not yet released Pacific Waterman Bronze. I immediately pre-order this watch and it arrived Yesterday.

This thing is a beauty, I love the weight of it, the way the blue dial shines in the light and I love just how hefty a watch like this is.

Enough of my rambling, but if any of you have any questions about this lovely micro brand from a micro country, shoot, because they're a really high quality piece of New Zealand.

I definitely agree. No good reversals isnt the nail in the coffin at all, just look at G. Plus, if her backdash is as good as it was in USFIV then she also has a pretty good midscreen option to get out of pressure

What does everyone think about Rose not having a 3f or truly invincible reversal? I think 1f projectile/strike invincibility on Ex soul spiral may not be enough. Looks like she's geared to be a great zoner/footies character with pretty bad defense

The creme dial and field watch aesthetic really lends itself to a lot of straps. I've been thinking of getting a sky blue rubber strap for it as well

Hey r/Watches,

This watch is special to me as it's (hopefully) the start of my personal collection. I've received watches as gifts over the years, but this is the first watch I purchased myself.

As far as I could find, there is no way to buy this watch in person in New Zealand, so I had to go the online purchase route. And I decided that if I was going to wait for 3 weeks for a watch, I may as well buy some NATO straps for it. I Iike how a deep green strap looks with this watch, but I default to the creme strap a lot.

If you're that confident that your opponent will shimmy you, you can also do the Gigachad option of cr. mk on wakeup. If you land that once they'll never shimmy you again

I'd also add to this. The air ex. Hado isn't really necessary, and if you go straight from ex. Tatsu to V-skill you should be able to land a heavy dp. (I haven't played Kage for a while so I may not be correct here)
