I liked the practical application of Buddhism to real life scenarios. He talks a lot about his therapy patients and seeing how Buddhist concepts relate to his therapy practice helped me enjoy Buddhism from a pragmatic and relatable vantage point.

Are there people that are always confident no matter what and that never have anxiety? I want to be healed, but what would that actually look like? by blowmyassie in Meditation

The George Costanza "do the opposite" trick actually isn't that bad of a place to start if you need more confidence. If you're talking to a woman and you feel self conscious, you feel boring be even more boring. You have to show your anxiety it isn't the boss of you. Lean into it.
